David Floridia
Instructors
Prof. Karen Tran
Professor Karen Tran began training in 2008. An accomplished BJJ career which includes IBJJF medals at purple and brown belt. She is also a professional wrestler who has most recently worked for Ring of Honor. Prof. Tran received her black belt in 2020 under Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles
Kevin Kross
Kevin has over 30 years of martial arts experience. Forms of grappling ranging from Submission Wrestling, Judo and Jiu Jitsu.
Others include Kyokushinkai, Muay Thai, Boxing, Sambo and Vale Tudo. Kevin is a purple belt under Daniel Gracie
Prof. David Floridia
Born and raised in Southern California, David has trained under World class instructors Nino & Pepe Schembri, Rolles Gracie, and Daniel Gracie. A black belt under Daniel Gracie, David has competed and won notable tournaments throughout the years to include Grapplers Quest and NAGA. David was invited to work as a referee for NAGA and did so for two years. David continues to train around the World and currently trains directly with UFC fighters Sean Brady and Jeremiah Wells.
Prof. Matt Riddle
A professional MMA competitor since 2008, Professor Matt made a name for himself by appearing on SpikeTV's The Ultimate Fighter 7. Professor Matt was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and later moved to Saratoga Springs, New York, where he attended Saratoga Springs High School. He graduated from high school in 2004 and then attended East Stroudsburg University, where he was a member of the wrestling team for 2 years. Riddle's main experience comes from high school wrestling. He wrestled at Saratoga High School in upstate New York. There Riddle was a National wrestling Champion and in his Senior year was a New York state wrestling champion
Prof. Shayna Baszler

Sumie Sakai
Sumie is a 3rd degree Judo black belt and brown belt under Daniel Gracie. Sumie started training Judo at the age of 10 and competed under the MIKI HOUSE team in Japan where she was a member of the World Cup Championship Team. Sumie is also a Pro MMA fighter with 7 professional fights to include fights against UFC fighters Jessica Aguilar and Jessica Pene. Sumie has also had a long accomplished Pro Wrestling career, being crowned the first ever Ring of Honor Women’s Champion and appearing as a guest coach at the WWE Performance Center.
